What do I do if I can't access the internet?

Perform the following steps before calling for technical
support: |

Power down your computer and/or router. |

Power down the POE unit. |
| |
Power up the POE unit. |
| |
Power up your computer. |
| |
Go to www.txwi.net from your
browser. |
| |
If problem still exists contact technical support. |

Does bad weather effect the service?
|
| |
No, but if it is lightning out you should probably power
down your computer and the POE unit. We also
REQUIRE
that you have a UPS (Battery Backup) on your computer system. |

Can I get more bandwidth?
|
| |
Depending on your line-of-sight and distance to our tower we
can give you as much as 1024K download and 512K upload speeds. |

Email Questions

How do I change my email account password?
|
| |
Login to the new webmail system from
www.txwi.net
by clicking the appropriate Web Mail button on the home page.
Once, you login then select the SETTINGS option on the top menu.
Then select Accounts on the left menu. Now,
choose your txwi.net account and select the MODIFY button.
Enter you new password in the appropriate fields and save the
changes. Your all done! |

Can I use an email client like Outlook,
Thunderbird. or Eudora?

Yes. But we can only provide limited support. Contact
your software vendor first if you have any problems. Use
the following information to setup your email client:
